MICHELLE PUCKETT Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Personally helps Confidential Shelters by establishing positive relationships, Drive strategic planning, business development and fiscal operations. Provides general oversight of all activities, manages the day-to-day operations, and assures a smoothly functioning, efficient organization. Assures program quality and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation. Assures a work environment that recruits, retains and supports quality volunteers. Assures process for selecting, development, motivating, and evaluating and volunteers.
CHARLES PUCKETT Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer
Oversee the implementation of business plans, strategies, budgets and forecasts. Provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative/reporting procedures, and people / systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Support the executive management team in creating and implementing a shared vision for the organization and establishing an environment that facilitates and motivates volunteers in working toward achievement of organizational goals.

“Since 2010, we have provided assistance to 275 disadvantaged and battered women, 32 struggling men and around 155 senior citizens, not to mention the nursing homes my Lab, Sassy, and I visit, helping them get their lives back on track and giving them a chance for success and just to enjoy life. No stranger to hardship herself, Puckett began painting butterflies to raise money after her son was in a hit-and-run accident, and required expensive surgery. That difficult time in her life led to the creation of Blooming Butterflies and sparked a desire to help others who fall on hard times. “Through this horrible experience, my son and I reached out and formed our own nonprofit so we could help others start over in life to the best of our ability because of the few individuals who reached out and helped us,” she said. Sassy loves to put on her uniform, fill her backpack with butterfly magnets we paint by hand from a live plant - off we go to private nursing homes, children recovery hospitals and women shelters to pass out our goodies!
